Prepreg/Autoclave

A prepreg is a fabric which is pre-impregnated with resin and stored at -18 C.

Prepreg / autoclave technology is the standard production technique for all Formula 1, supercar and most aerospace parts.

They are cured in an autoclave to achieve better fibre compaction and force air voids and excess resin out of the component.

We use this technique for structural as well as carbon design applications.
